AJ is a current 212 IFBB Pro, former NCAA collegiate wrestler in the 133 pound weight class and high school All- American. He discovered his passion for bodybuilding while studying exercise science and applying what he learned to grow muscle and get bigger and stronger for wrestling. After 2 torn ACLs on his right knee he decided that he would have a better future by going all in on his fitness goals. His first competition was in 2017 where he took 2nd place in classic physique and from there he began working with a coach to get serious with competing. The following year he won his first Overall trophy in lightweight body building and competed in his first National show at the NPC Nationals. Aj won his second overall in 2020 in classic physique and his third overall in 2024 in middleweight bodybuilding. He then turned pro by taking 1st place in the middleweight class at the 2024 USA Championships.
He has been coaching since 2019 and has had the pleasure of helping others achieve their fitness goals whether that be transforming their body completely to be healthier, winning an overall at a show or stepping on the national stage. He has learned through competing in both wrestling and bodybuilding at high levels that these are not individual sports and you must lean on your supporters, friends/family and coaches to help push you to be your best as uncomfortable as it may be and to have faith in yourself that you are right where you need to be at that moment in time.
"It will never be the perfect moment, it will always be the right time. And the right time is always now, because that is all we have".
